Walk-in-interview for the following positions purely on contractual basis will be organized by Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat under the project entitled “Identification of Drivers of Deforestation” funded by Meghalaya Basin Management Agency.
1. Junior Project Fellow
Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc./M.A. in life science/Forestry/Botany/ Environmental Science/Agriculture/Ecology/Sociology. The task will involve extensive travel to rural Meghalaya and data collection, analysis and compilation. Candidates with knowledge of local languages, basic statistics, and computer application will be preferred.
No of posts: 5 posts
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 16,000/- + HRA;
2. Field Assistant
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science. The task will involve extensive travel to rural Meghalaya and data collection. Candidates with knowledge of local languages and basic computer application will be preferred.
No of posts: 6 posts
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 8,000/-;
Age limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 06/04/2018, which is relaxable as per Govt, of India rules. Candidates having working experience as Green volunteers will be preferred.
